Tim Davis received his master’s degree from the University of Illinois and studied with artists Frank Gallo and Bill Carlson. His current focus is working on canvas and “sculptural mixed media books” that create dialogue and mystery. Davis explores transparent imagery, 3-D textures, and layers of paint in his compositions. He has exhibited widely in the Washington, D.C. area, and most recently showed with the “Hope for the City” exhibition at Union Station, Washington, D.C. He has many works of art in private and corporate collections. Davis is the owner and director of International Visions – The Gallery in Washington, D.C.
