Michael B. Platt long known as a printmaker, now prefers the more encompassing designation, "imagemaker."
His work, in which the figurative prevails, recently has turned to digital imagery and book art. Platts artwork is represented in the Corcoran Musuem: the Smithsonian Musuem of American Art; Schomburg research Center on Black Culture, Yale University and Hampton University.
